Allan from Fallbrook
ParticipantBunny: No worries. I didn’t get a snob feel from you, and the question was a good one. TG makes a good point, too. We have a good sized house on over an acre of land, and in a very quiet neighborhood to boot. My kids are involved with sports and activities, and close to their friends, largely due to the small town aspect.
This is what I grew up with as well, so it matters to me. If you are looking for not only the small town feel, but want some room to stretch out a little, this is a good choice. I would also recommend looking at Bonsall, too.

ParticipantAllan:
Thanks. I’m happy to know that I wasn’t being offensive. When I see Fallbrook, I think “authentic and real.” Temecula has many fine points, but it just feels so…synthetic and sanitized.
And, as Jerry Seinfeld says, “not that there’s anything wrong with that.” I think it’s all a matter of personal preference.
Speaking of personal preference, my husband and I will have to find a compromise. I like eclectic, character and an honest community feel. He likes sanitized, the largest garage possible and NEW. Sigh.
Bunny 🙂
