Does anyone have experience to share about Los penisquitos Academy and Black Mountain Academy in Poway? They are lottery based. But we want to give it a try, because my son is not motivated at his home school. I heard that getting into Penaquitos academy gives some advantage when applying for Black Mountain Academy? Is it true? How do the academies compare to other top schools in the county? Thanks.
