If you check out google’s realty site and search on foreclosures (over all prices), it currently has 2842 foreclosures listed within San Diego. I’m not sure what the official number is, but DQNews has 4,383 NOD’s, and says that about half will foreclose, so I guess it sounds realistic. Anyone know if that is correct?
What I found most interesting is the number of multi-million dollar homes in foreclosure 93 (most expensive is nearly $5M), which is around 3 percent of all foreclosures listed. I wonder how the foreclosure rate breaks down by price, normalized by the number of available homes in that price range.
