Thanks Bsrsharma,
The honda minivan is now spoken for π
Lol, this thing is a great hauler.I emailed the guy. NOTE: i think this is a scam. There’s no way this minivan is $3k and change. The gas mileage on it is not *that* bad. It’s the same as the honda pilot and acura mdx (which I also have), and you can easily get 22 mph on the freeway. In addition, the minivan’s engine has an improvement versus the pilot/mdx in that if i recall, 2 cylinders actually shutdown once cruising speed is reached, making this practically a 4 cylinder on the freeway. I’ll see what kind of reply I get.

July 2, 2008 at 1:17 PM #232411CoronitaParticipantI also think the xterra is too good to be true. I mean the market has fallen, but I don’t think it’s *that* bad yet. However, for the xterra If I recall, these aren’t that expensive to begin with though. I think you can get a decent new one for $20k and change.
The minivan post i think is almost certain to be a scam. The minivan post for example I noticed is posted as a private sales (says is owner), but if you look at the pictures, it appears it still has a used car dealer’s plates on it. I’m guessing what this person might be trying to do is scam people out of money. He/she probably went to a dealer, took some pictures, and now trying to post this as his/her own car.
There’s no reason why a legit dealer would be posting as a private sales, nor is it allowed by the craigslist
I’ll let you know when/if the person responds to my email.
The other two vehicles is probably not a scam. Although they appear new, check out the mileage. The e150 van has close to $200k on a 4 year old car. I wouldn’t touch that, especially since it’s a ford.
