FWIW, the Midwest is getting more diverse by the day. Its called globalization.

I think you hit it sdr, the great divide will be class not race in the future, and I think the suburbs like TV will be far from dead as well.
But Seriously Nebraska ?? KC ?? Have you spent any time there ???TV will start to look a lot nicer if you were to spend a few weeks in KC or Nebraska IMHO.

I agree with you… But I don’t think that it’s a racist comment. Just my observation on our changing society.
Above average income professional folks will remain… but there will also be a very large portion of low income folks too (mostly recent immigrants).
Yes, globalization is changing things. New York City is the prime example. I said that it’s neither good nor bad. It depends on your perspective.
I happen to love NYC. It’s a global melting pot and you see people from around the world just riding the subway. In that respect, it’s very good, in my opinion.
NYC is also a very expensive, very desirable place to live.
