It was repossessed by the bank on 6/17. Redfin and zillow sometimes show bank repos as legitimate transactions, and they sometimes don’t enter the correct date. Bank listed it on 7/3 and escrow was closed on 8/15.

Then the home was listed on 7/3 by Prudential and then went into escrow 12 days later. I would imagine they got alot of offers as it sold for 760 and just closed escrow a few days ago. It has not recorded yet. So no hanky panky just a trustee sale and then it went REO and then was sold.
