zk: Right you are. I “discovered” baseball through Little League at the ripe old age of 7 (it was 1972) and my all time fave is “Hammerin’ Hank” Aaron.
I batted clean up for every team I played on from Little League through high school, so I loved the sluggers. Couldn’t field worth a s**t, which is why I played outfield my whole “career”, but I could knock the snot out of the ball.
Barry Bonds doesn’t deserve to carry Aaron’s jockstrap, let alone hold his record. And, yeah, I’m a Giants fan, believe it or not.
