the only positive about mira mesa is that wings n things. mmmm.
i love all the CV folks trying to tell me that, because it’s not to my taste, that i “just can’t afford it” and that it’s above my class. has my point been proven without me saying anything?
Well, most of the people here don’t live in Carmel v. And I didn’t say you couldnt afford to live in Carmel valley. You just seem to have unrealistic expectations give the current market conditions and location and size you expect to be able to buy.
It’d like complaining that Porsche wants a $25k markup for the GT4 and calling it a shit car because with the markup it is almost the same price of a 911s. Sorry, the GT4 might be overpriced and overly expensive, but a shit car it is not. In fact, the fact that they can find buyers at $25k above says there is a market for it. Whether you want to play in that game or not is completely up to you.
That, and whether you want to admit it or not, you do have a snobbery thing going on too. Above the snob level of I would say your typical carmel valley home owner below $1.1 million such that people in that category would think you are a snob… But below the snobbery of the homeowners that buy the $1.5+ homes. Perhaps that’s why you think the way you do, because your own snobbery makes you gravitate towards those even worse. You are in the wrong crowd, most likely out of choice, because the other crowd, you probably think you are too good for. So like I said, enjoy renting.
You see, I live in Carmel valley. But unlike you, I don’t thumb my nose at Mira Mesa. In fact as far as investment goes, it did quite well. So perhaps call me old fashion, but I look at Mira Mesa purely in terms $$$$$.
Oh snap, shit sorry AN. Never mind, Mira Mesa sucks… Never.mind…
