You’re welcome Jazzman. The short-term rentals previously wouldn’t have worked in California so well because the high cost of properties. But with them coming down the last few years it’s getting closer to making sense. I don’t do any short-term rentals in California but will look at that possibility later this year but not sure it makes sense still.
Better in other areas around the world, especially outside of the USA where you don’t have to worry as much about liability issues, utilities are cheaper and also salaries are cheaper for staff.
Still, it might still work if you are in a super desirable area. But I’ll have to look at the numbers closer once I move to San Diego next month.
