You might try to suck some of the oil out with a hand pump through the dipstick hole. Also, make a non-tippy plate to clamp to your floor jack and raise it up to support the pan as you loosen the last screws. Lower it down and again pump out as much as you can to lighten the pan. Of course, the xmission will drip ‘forever’ once the pan is off. OEM part is my vote here.
