Pacific Century sold the project at an early stage to Greystone, which soon after was acquired by Lennar.
I believe Pacific Century sold the development in 2002, so the homes built after that time frame had the famous Lennar “Everything Included” options.
It was most likely the same subs that worked on the project from beginning to end.
That is one reason why you’ll see that those homes have such distinct looks and floorplans (not saying good or bad) and there are no similar developments in Tem/Mur, whereas you can find almost identical Lennar homes/floorplans from Corona to Lake Elsinore to Murrieta to Temecula/Redhawk.
Most buyers do not like the 3 story homes that do not flow, and are built on an odd slope of terrain, which is one reason why the homes there languish more than others.
At today’s prices, and how much worse it will be, $90 per sq ft is too much for Chelsea.
