what year was it they began calling programers engineers? Why do you think they did that? Who asked to be called that? I’ve heard of sanitation engineers too…they aren’t paid that well either.
Consider computer engineering is the top tier of engineer hierarchy in college. They are actually one of the best pay one. Outsourced is over played. One of the worse program that I ever used is outsourced to India. If you said a family of two engineers making 150k, I think is sensible. However, the do not live in La Jolla. I even laugh at those living at CV saying that they are living way beyond their means (excluding people with family money of course ^.^). Oh, I am not an engineer.
