Unbelievable.The wind is ripping through the hills and canyons right now.
Not that it is the right time to knock people butI always did wonder how a fire burns from Julian almost to the ocean and then back to the dessert.
I can see the other fire too,just a glow beyond Lyons peak. Supposedly there is a portion of it coming north west. It is still pretty far though. That said, after the cedar fire I take nothing for granted.
I did call a guy who works for me now and then and lives near that one to see if he needs a place to stay. Haven’t heard from him.I am sure he knows how to take care of himself.
