Walter, it seems like you are a great dad and we parents are bombarded with such complicated decisions, I think that your kids are lucky to have an involved, caring dad. My husband is an amazing, kind parent also, we do our best and while a little self-reflection is good for the soul, you should also be able to occasionally bask in the glow of doing your best and having great kids, which it seems like you do!
