This is a very general question. What are you remodeling? Kitchen/bath/bedroom/living area/flooring/etc? If you specifically want only the cost of a kitchen remodel, then it really depends on the size of the kitchen, not the house. Once you figure that out, the price are still all over the map, depending on how much you want to spend. You can spend as little as $5k to do updating and as much as, if not more than, $100k if you go w/ all exotic materials. A complete gut and redo of a kitchen from floor to ceiling and above average materials will probably run you at least $30k.
