Uh, yeah….my rate is just a little higher. Even when I was a FTE my W2 salary was demonstrably higher than that.
These folks in management never seen to understand that you get what you pay for. $35/hr seems great until you realize the product takes 3x to build and sucks 3x as bad as if you’d hired someone competent.
“If you think it’s expensive to hire an expert, wait until you hire an amateur”.
