Of course he might own the property in an LLC or corporate name – you can figure that out by plugging in your parcel # (Click on parcel # on the menu on the left.) You can get your parcel # by plugging in your address on Zillow – it’s under the info about the home.
If you think your landlord has stopped paying, I’d make it a habit to check the county records once a week. If you bookmark the link it takes less than a minute.
Thanks – That’s just what I was looking for. It would appear that there’s not a NOD and the taxes were last paid in October, but I’ll keep an eye on it.
