Totally agree zk, it’s the ones you watched as kid that are the most special.
Mine was Steve Carlton, lefty pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies in the 70’s and early 80’s. No world series will ever be able to top the 1980 series for me. Shame how Carlton went out though, but I will always remember his glory days.
