They didn’t make thousands of dollars they took out thousands of dollars of equity! I don’t blame them but we all fall into situations that either benefit us or do not. And it is time pay up for the ARM suckers and I have thousands in savings from avoiding an ARM to buy an over hype and priced home a few years ago.
I do appreciate your suggestion and agree that if a home is just sitting there and you drive by and see a foreclosure sign doesn’t mean move on in! However this will happen as the article has implied.
