think you missed my point arraya. I think a decline in the middle class as represented in a one car household or making one’s own bread is not important in the big scheme of things
Yes nothing drastic has happened unless you live in the third world. But the water is rising fast. Ask your self what the economy will look like with 300 or 400 dollar oil. It will be pure palpitating panic in the 3rd world and the one car will leave the middle class family here in america and the bread maker will turn into a plow. These are the very early stages.
I do hope I am wrong. But as evidence mounts it gets uglier every day.
And don’t full yourself. Energy alliances are being made right now in what seems to be a high stake poker game with Russia, Iran, and China. Cheney and Co want those reserves so bad they can taste it. Something is stopping them and I thinks it’s russia. Controlling the worlds energy supplies is ultimate control. The empire is thirsty.
