There are some isolated parts of ABQ that are OK like Corrales. But mostly that town is a ugly piece of brown turd. I have been there many times as own a rental house there. I like New Mexico in general…it has a cool kind of counter culture, nice native american art, like the green and red chile, great sunsets. But ABQ has some real nasty eye sore sprawl areas. I could never live there. I like to vacation in Santa Fe and Taos though:) But ABQ has some legendary 1960’s-1970’s nasty sprawl.
