The only way to fix the housing mess is the let it play out. Let the market cleanse itself.
Clinton’s housing plan is flawed. But Bush’s plan for stimilus is even worse. The war and the deficit are leaving no room for fiscal stimulus.
The way I see it, a recession is now unavoidable. The politicians will continue to come up with bailout plans to buy votes.
