As a lifelong Charger fan I must say this was the most exciting game since the Miami game back in… sheesh dare I say over 25 years ago?
Absolutely this was the biggest win since the Steeler game for the conference championship. Being a grizzled fan who flew to Miami in 92 to sit in a freeking downpour to watch the bolts lose 31-3 …. who then flew back to Miami to watch them get dumped by the niners in the super bowl… this was very much one of the sweetest games in a very long time.
Allan I think Kiffin is a pretty damn good coach. I hope that Al gives him a chance. You guys have some good parts… Morrison is great…your QB is good and he needs to season. I wouldn’t give up on Porter. Two good drafts and you guys can be really strong. Like you said, Al needs to get a strong gm in there and build em up.
Getting back to the game…it was really an exciting game ya know? So many big plays. Every drive was really important, it was like the entire game was really on edge and it went fast as opposed to the Tenessee game which I went to and was like watching paint dry.
