Tell here to crunch the budget numbers and to tell you how it is possible. put the ball right back in her court. She will most likely tell you how jim and jane did it with some kind of funky loan. I would not be surprised if jim and jane did not want YOU to buy THEIR HOUSE.
Anyway, then tell her to go and apply for the loan…and see where she gets.
