Speaking of caregivers. With statistics supporting the fact that life expectancy is declining in the US, there seem to be more and more people in need of care, so their services are definitely in high demand.
Over the years, and because most wanted to be cared for at home, rather than be placed in a facility, we’ve had the privilege of having several caregivers help us with family members and friends who have needed assistance in their homes, and, if you’ve ever witnessed a compassionate person taking care of someone with Alzheimer’s or other terminal condition, you’ve witnessed the meaning of true love. With all that they’ve given our family and friends, we have been honored to set up funds for them and their families, and I’m glad to hear others are doing the same.
