Sorry to bump this back into the roll, but I thought I would announce that today is my last day at my current employment. So a week to hang out with family and then up to placerville!
San Diego, I will miss your beautiful bay, your clement sailing, and clean surf.
Last friday I was able to combine all of them in one of the finest days I have had since I moved here. Went to Mission cafe for breakfast, motored the sailboat to Dolphin tanks, surfed for 4 hours and sailed with a buried rail the whole way home! Magnificent! Perfect 70 deg day not a soul out, and I swear I could see Catalina.
The city and sailing will be missed, the home stock and cost of living will not.
