Pure and simple. I cannot figure out why people are dancing in the streets?
Let’s look at this. 36 Navy SEALs from DEVGRU, better known as SEAL Team 6 go up against five knuckleheads with AKs. DEVGRU is the ultra elite of the SEAL and Special Ops community. They could have just as easily slide into that compound at night and put guns to peoples heads before Osama even knew what was going on. ST6 is the very best in the body snatch. So why didnt this happen? It wasn’t lack of thier ability. It was Policy. This was a hit pure and simple. If the adminstration had really wanted Osama could have been already in GITMO in a custom made rubber room.
So why I am so object to his death? It is exactly what he wanted and needed. To die a Martry at the hands of the US and to rally his fighters. Not to die alone, miserable, and not a martyr like a rat in a cage…
Obama is acting like Bush and I expected better. Hell we even went so far as to bury him within 24 hours of his death as not to rile the muslim community (at least the militant ones).
Bad… Just fucking bad policy decisions. I am sure mine are not the best but surely this could have been handled better.
