I don’t trust the BBB. I’ve personally made a legitimate complaint to the BBB about a contractor – only to have the contractor rebutt it (with lies) and BBB took the complaint down.
BBB’s business model is that the businesses PAY them. So that gives them a bias to keep their paying customer happy.
