Just something I’ve seen over the years, and also what the old, veteran realtors will likely tell you as well.
Of course, things can change, but I’ve seen very little competition for the tract homes, while the customs sell very quickly. Maybe it’s the fact that they tend to be on larger lots, and also tend to be single-story, but whenever a custom home is listed in the areas we’re looking in, it tends to sell much more quickly, and for higher prices, than tract homes in the same general area and of the same general size.
