Not exactly what I said, but close.
I should have used $8 instead of $3 as I can’t recall drinking a $3 bottle in years.
But yeah, I certainly enjoy an $8 bottle with friends more than a $40 in front of the TV by myself. Going up in value only buys me a bit more enjoyment. But great surroundings can add a whole lot more…and actually make the wine taste a great deal better.
