There are many more cars that’s also fun to drive than just those 2. What’s your price range and definition of fun? Is it drop top cruising on the 101, is it traction around turn, is it ridiculously fast in straight line, is it all of the above but is also reasonably priced? If the last option is your definition of fun, you might also want to check out the 370Z. 0-60 in ~4.7 sec, 1/4 mile in low 13s, corner at close to 1G, all for 30-40k. I like the old Z4 and wished they would have tossed the 3.0L Turbo in there, but they didn’t. The new Z4 got soft and heavy.
