It seems like a lot of people don’t want them anymore. Personally, mine gets used all the time. I sit there to stare outside. When I have family over, some people will be in the family room watching TV while others are chatting in the dining room and others are chatting in the living room. Because they’re not all in one open space, you don’t have to talk over each other. My brother’s house (built in 2012), although it’s only 100 sq-ft smaller than mine, no way can hold the kind of party mine get. No way can he fit a table that can sit 14-18 people or have room for that many people to sit.
