However, you saying you got yours for $900 less than asking in the same breath of accusing me of using the $2200 number. Insinuating that it’s over priced, give me an impression that you’re trying to say this place can be rented for $1300. The last 2 places I rented were both from Craigslist and I negotiated down below what they’re listing. So there’s always room for negotiation. But as I’ve ran the number with 4.5%, the total cost a month to buy is around $1500. Do you think this place can be negotiated to get rent price down $700?
With your advice, it’s fair. I see no problem with that. People should first buy where they like to live and not settle. Would your advice still apply for someone who really want to live in Eastlake?
