Mission Hills (and Point Loma) will always command a premium. I’ve never been a believer in “we’re running out of land,” but one thing they’re not building anymore are 1920’s spanish-style homes or craftsman bungalows or mid-century moderns.
Not saying they won’t come down (or haven’t already), just that they’ll still be premium areas for some time to come. I would agree though that Liberty Station probably doesn’t help the cause.
And this coming from an engineer, no less.
Do you mean “we’re not making anymore land”, or do you really mean to say “we’re running out of land”? If it’s the later, I think most if not everybody on here would agree with you, if you’re talking about San Diego as a whole. But for areas that have already been built out like PL and MH, we’re not just running out of “build-able” land, we’re out of build-able land.
Questions to those who bought or are looking in PL/MH, are you looking there because of the 1920’sspanish-style homes or craftsman bungalows or mid-century moderns? Or are you looking there because of the location? Obviously it’s a combination of both but what’s higher on your priority?
