I don’t think Obama is the reincarnation of Hitler, by the way, but the use of symbology and icons is important, as is the use of rhetoric (especially rhetorical flourishes) and oratory.
Hitler was a tremendously gifted speaker and understood intrinsically the need of the people to embrace cultural icons, shared history and a sense of destiny (Deutschland Uber Alles).
Obama is saying one thing and doing another. Consistently. Look at his track record as far as keeping to campaign promises. He’s making Slick Willie Clinton look like Honest Abe.
