If I were Kim, I’d keep doing exactly what I’ve been doing. It’s highly effWe’d be righteously screwed if the situation escalates into hostilities. We don’t have anyone left to commit there. Shit, we be throwing the Cub Scouts and the Campfire Girls at them!

The S. Korean army isn’t as hapless as it was at the BEGINNING of the Korean war (1950-53). Ask anyone who served in Vietnam and had contact with S. Korean troops who were there to support US. S Korea maintained 3 Infantry Divisions there.
I don’t think you have to worry about throwing US Cub Scouts and girls at them. S. Korean Army/navy/AF/marines should be able to hold and eventually roll them back and up the peninsula. However without the support of US, it will be longer and bloodier.
Now don’t get the idea that US should pull troops out of South Korea. That’s a dumb idea.
