Retirees with money will hire personal assistants to run their errands. Maybe there will be a resurgence of servants? There is certainly room in the McMansions for live in caretakers. If times get really tough, the rich will hire ex military or retired cops for personal security for them and their family members. When crime goes up, there are increased sales of security systems, gate guarded enclaves will increase, guard dogs, etc. It could be a trend. The kidnappings in Mexico could move north. Just a few thoughts.
