Prices are not going to 97 levels unless the whole country goes down the crapper. 97 levels were near the bottom of the last bust. Things were just barely starting to appreciate again in 97 after 5 or 6 years of steady declines . If prices tank to 2001/2 levels they should be somewhere in line with rents. That’s where they will probably settle.
