Pri: What makes this truly laughable is that poor Russ has no sense of irony, nor does he read enough American history.
Those “Midwestern white boys”, as he calls them, were disproportionately represented in the casualties lost on the Union side during the American Civil War. Think infantry units from Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, etc.
But, hey, your skin is your sin, right? If you’re white, you must be wrong. Same goes with being American. If you fly the Stars and Stripes, you must have fucked someone over at some point.
Cornel West and Ward Churchill would be so proud.
Of course, we should continue to provide for our poor black brethren because nothing builds self esteem and self worth like a handout.
Russ, why don’t you cite some of the many studies and surveys done on Affirmative Action and welfare and tell us how they helped build a thriving and educated black middle class with intact families.
