It’s not the case of tripping over dollars to pick up pennies. It’s more like, I want to pick up all the dollars AND pennies. After I picked them all up and left, I would wonder to myself, did I picked up all pennies? I did come in with what I determined as a fair market value. That still didn’t stop me from second guessing myself after I closed escrow. Those few thousands could have paid for new windows and new HVAC, you know what I mean? Maybe I’m just too deal conscious.
