on the subject of traffic lights, there was an interesting european study that found lower accident rates and better driivng when certain traffic signals were eliminated. people had to take control of their own safety. there would probably be a bad adjustment period int he states, since we’re nbuttier, also maybe so nuts we’d never adjust. but it worked somehwere, i think it was england. interesting. not that im antigovt or traffic sign or anything. it was discussed ina bike chat group
