Let’s say you are a controlling stock holding member in a Fortune 500 company (technology is its strong point), and need someone to run your company. The company hasn’t been doing so well lately, since its public relations has taken a severe beating, and it also needs to improve its image again.
Who do you want running your company to improve its image, and help it to make intelligent, rational decisions.
Do you want a newer guy,trained at Harvard, Magna Cum Laude, and asked to stay on and teach- quite successful in his field, with some Fortune 500 experience. His back up is another veteran businessman with years of experience in Fortune 500 companies.
Or do you want a 72 year old guy, previously tortured as a POW, with anger issues, and a history of malignant melanoma x 4. His back up is a small town mayor for a few years, believes in creationalism, and has had one year running a small sized company.
