Of course, according to Frank Rich of the NYT, anyone who disagrees with Dear Leader is a right-wing extremist, dead set on overthrowing our government by force. Which then sets the stage to disarm the country, because those pesky guns are dangerous.
You are either with us or with the terrorists. It’s the same mind fuck, different audience. Probably the same script writers behind the scenes. Before you were a terrorist sympathizer, now you are about to shoot up the Holocaust museum if you disagree with the state.
End result of domestic and foreign terrorists. Less civil liberties, a police state and squashing dissent. Which works out pretty well with the economic prospects and endemic corruption that should genuinely piss people off.
I think you are correct about the guns. Though, we will need a few more shootings to garner public support.
