I don’t really see it that way (I’m not part of that crowd)… to me the appeal is really that the search is a lot more powerful than redfin and the others. To a nerd like me who likes to be able to search across lots of data and parameters to dial in on things, that’s pretty cool.
The social networking aspect part of it is probably not something I’d use much… though I agree there’s definitely a demographic out there that will get a lot of use out of it. I’m just not one of them… to me it’s all about who has the best search.
