It depends on if you can qualify based on a number of factors. For loans above $417K, if you have at least 20% equity and qualify, you can currently refi at NO cost to you at 5.25%. With a cost rates are lower.
By saving 1% in rate you will save about $6000 in interest just the first year, and tens of thousands of dollars over 15-20 years..
