Yes, i was in Mission Valley before, but moved to UC due to the diff in pricing. Back then I was paying 1900 for a similar unit in MV.
The price fluctuates around the school year. During the times when school is about to start and students are looking for housing are the peaks. Outside of that you can get some real good deals.
Prices have gone down since i’ve moved here. A couple of years ago, that 1300 was rock bottom, now i’ve seen them in the 1100-1300 range during the school year.
I live in a fairly large complex, so I’ve noticed groups of students move into different units in the same building owned by different investor to save a hundred in the past year.
MV has gone down too, I’ve seen units that rented from 1700 to 2100 down to 1200-1700 now.
