My neighbor installed them years ago when she put a patio addition on her house. They are really nice because otherwise her living room would be a dark hole. I like them. There at least 6 solatubes in her house and I don’t think they have ever leaked. Like UcGal said they are bright, very bright. A dimmer sounds like a good idea to me, especially in a bedroom.
