My idiot 20-year-old kid absentee voted both yes on the La Mesa sales tax and yes on the Grossmont Union High School District bond, the latter being mostly for building a high school in Alpine. People who live in the fire zone city of Alpine knew when they bought there that their kids would have to be bussed to El Cajon. I’m really pissed off that both of these measures passed. And I’m thinking that the voting age should be moved up to 25 because college kids have no idea what it’s like to live in the real world.
