Why does a simple question about the iPad need to become a political issue?
Brian is just trying to save his friend anywhere between $40 and $70 depending on what version she will end up purchasing. Nothing wrong with that in my opinion…
They were and still are selling $100 under the retail price. Even with the sales tax, it is still a sweet deal. I am not sure if you have to be a UCSD student to purchase electronics there. I am no longer a student and the guy at the store didn’t asked me any student ID.
You may also consider Wal-Mart though I doubt that the iPad 2 will be available right away.
