Marion, some of your statements are contradictions.
You are simultaneously old-fashioned, wanting the man to lead/pay for dates, yet you’re independent and NEED to be financially self-reliant, but require joint-accounts when married (though you wouldn’t want to buy a house with someone again), even though you infer that your net worth is higher than your mate.
